Hotmail email has changed or re branded its email services as live.com and outlook.com as well. So, most of the old users who are still using live.com and Hotmail.com are still confused on how to login to their email account.
The main thing here that you need to know is Hotmail has just re branded the product name not the service. So, in order to get logged in to your email account, just follow the old login steps. If you are still confused on this, here’s what you need to do:
- Go to Hotmail.com or outlook.com or live.com, all these domain will redirect you to the same login page. Therefore, don’t get confused on this.
- Now in the Login Homepage, enter your email address. Here, enter full email address rather than just the username. All the Hotmail emails like, outlook.com, live.com is accepted here.
- Now, enter your password and click on “Sign in“.
- That’s it. Now you are logged in to your email account.
These are the simple steps to follow in order to get logged in to your Hotmail Account. So, don’t get confused and follow these simple steps.
What about the other free Hotmail services?
As I have already mentioned whether you registered Hotmail or live or outlook, the services provided are same. You will get the same free online space, same inbox services and other free services as well.
Same login process goes out for the country TLD as well like .co.uk.
What about sign up process?
Well these are the login process, but what about sign up process?
Creating an account is an easy process, but I’m not going to explain all the process in depth.
While creating an account, you can choose Hotmail.com or outlook.com as well. However, live.com is not available.
How to choose the email address?
While in the sign up form, as you enter your username (which must be unique), you can choose the email as well. Just click on that, a drop down menu will appear and choose the one you like.
As I’ve already mentioned, there’s no difference in Hotmail and outlook. So, you can choose any one without any hesitation.
As the username must be unique, and if you didn’t get your desired username in Hotmail.com, you can choose outlook.com.
